Description
The Kalalau Trail is considered by most to be one of the most spectacular hikes in the world. It is eleven miles one way and is along the majestic Na Pali Coast of Kauai. There are three major stream crossings before arriving at Kalalau Beach, a wide pristine white sand beach. Camping is only allowed in beach area. Permits which are currently free are required. Five night maximum. Day hikes back into valley with numerous waterfalls, tropical fruits, archeologic sites.

This is a difficult and strenuous hike made more challenging due to heat and humidity.
Drink plenty of water
