Description
an easy to moderate trail that, dips and rises around the ridges to drop into the gorge, just above jack's river falls, on the jacks river.
this trail has a few sustained uphills but pace yourself and they won't be a problem.this is a pretty place that is extemely popular, you won't find solitude here, unless you stay a distance upstream/downstream from the falls.
the trout fishing is excellent, very difficult, wild/wary.
there's swimming in the top pool of the falls.
this place is a paradox, it's being loved to death, and trashed.
ranger mentioned a permit program maybe for the future.

Directions to Hike
take ga411 north thru chatsworth into cisco( phillip's66 station across from a baptist church), if you cross into TN, turn around), turn right onto ga2, this becomes a dirt road that you'll follow signs for jack's river trail, then pass same trailhead, continuing, to big frog loop, it'll be a right(320 deg).
the first parking lot is beech bottom trailhead.
