Description
This is one of the most beautiful and pleasing trails that I have been on. There is plenty of water on along the trail and some of the views of the switchback canyons are stunning. I have been on 10 to 11 other trails from the west coast to the east coast. We camp near a creek that will put you to sleep quickly with the water flowing near the camp site. We love this trail and hike it 6 to 8 times during the summer. I recommend this trail for all of those of whom wish to just get away and listen to nature.

Directions to Hike
Take route 76 east out of Clayton, Georgia when you cross the bridge into South Carolina turn off left into the parking lot. The trail is across the bridge on the Georgia side of the bridge. The steps going down to the bridge are o.k. but brutal when returning.
