Description
This 1,100 acre park has three miles of short hiking trails plus one seven-mile
backcountry trail. Trails lead along the top of the canyon, into the canyon, and through surrounding
forest. The backcountry trail has six reservable
campsites. These trails are open year round and there is a daily fee of $2.00 per vehicle. There is plenty to do here such as picnicing, camping, view historic sites, backpack, and hike. Only Eight miles away in the town of Omaha, Florence Marina State Park is great for a family trip that includes a visit to the overwhelming Providence Canyon.
