Description
There are many miles of beautiful hiking trails in this trail system. The terrain varies from wide gently sloping trails to very hilly single track trails. Some of these trails should only be attempted by sure-footed hikers. A trail map is also a necessity for the Westwoods. There are many miles of trails close together that could keep a lost hiker busy for hours. A map is available at Bishops, and there is also a large map attached to a board at the trail entrances. Mentioned on the map there are points of interest such as rock forms and a large lake.

Directions to Hike
Traveling North on I-95 take exit 57 to route 1. Take a right on route 1 in the heading towards New London. Follow route 1 for approximately .75 miles until you reach Dunk Rock Road on your right (first road after passing Bishop's Orchards). Follow Dunk Rock Road until you reach the trail head at the end of the road.

Contact Information
The Westwoods has a website: www.westwoodstrails.org On the website they have two email adresses that you can use to contact the committee.
