Description
Good trail for a day hike or overnite pack trip. Steep trail for first mile then not too bad but uphill all the way! Well maintained trail with occasional water. Mostly forested. Be prepared for the usual afternoon shower or storm! Cascade here and there, with a beautiful deep turquoise colored lake at destination. Fair tent sites at the lake.

Directions to Hike
Take the East Dallas Creek turnoff off Hiway 62, west of Ridgeway, CO. Drive about 10 miles to the trail head. Waypoint N38.03582-W107.80673, elevation 9334'.
Elevation at the lake 10981'.
Avg. grade 8%, Max. 24%
