Description
Great 2 hour hike to high alpine lake against the continental divide, about an hour outside of Denver, off US285. All uphill, but not bad. About 45 minutes through the forest, and the rest of the way great high mountain views to the lake. Lake supposedly good for trout fishing. Mines nearby.

Directions to Hike
Take US 285 SW out of Denver towards Bailey. Past Bailey, at Webster, take road NE towards Webster and Red Cone Pass. Keep left towards Gibson Lake and campgrounds. Park at campground, or 4-wheel to trail head.
