Description
The trail climbs steeply out of Poudre Canyon for about a mile. After climbing out of Poudre Canyon the trail ascends gently along Roaring Creek for a few more miles until it dead-ends into a jeep trail. There are many good campsites along the trail and there are very few other hikers to contend with.

Directions to Hike
From Fort Collins, take Highway 287 north and turn west onto Highway 34. Take Highway 34 west for about an hour. The trailhead is a few miles west of Rustic on the north side of the road.
