Description
1.8Mi. but ~3000 vertical feet to the top. The trial goes straight up the mountian (no switchbacks). Be sure to bring good boots since there is a lot of loose rocks and avalance beds to go through. The trip is listed as 6-8 hours, however I got through it in just under 5 hours. It is a good (and tough) day hike with fantastic views once you reach the top. There are a lot of false summits, so dont get discouraged.

Directions to Hike
Take I70 to silverthorn and then go to wilderness road. That road leads up the mountian a liite and loops back at the white falls trailhead. Start hiking there and go to the 'old cabin'. There is a trail that starts right after that which leads to the treeline. once at the tree line you are on your own since the trial is not well marked.
