Description
Bear Lake is a very easily accessable. Basically you drive right up to Bear Lake. The road ends in a parking lot. Bear Lake is maybe 50ft from the parking lot. It is a large lake with a trail that goes around it. There are other trails that go up to Nymph Lake about 1.5 mile up and another lake another mile or so up the trail. It is nice cause you can catch all three lakes in a day. It is very beautiful. I have been twice for xmas and the lakes are solid ice and it is the perfect place for snowshoeing. The trails are packed down from constant visitors. Hikers go all over the trail systems, while families and elderly people can easily enjoy the first lake (Bear Lake) without having to hile up inclines. Basically just park and walk a few feet and you are there. Very nice trails. Beautiful scenery. No wonder it is one of the most visited spots in RMNP.

Directions to Hike
I forget the roads name but there is a Bear Lake road that goes directly there and ends in the Bear Lake Parking Lot.
