Description
Fairly easy hike on a well made trail. Beautiful hike among among the pine and columbine. Ptarmigan Lake is clear and peaceful. There are many smaller "lakelets" nearby with secluded mountain meadows that are excellent for relaxing in the afternoon.

Directions to Hike
Hwy 24 to Beuna Vista to Cottonwood Pass Rd. On South side of the Cottonwood Pass a few miles east of the summit.
