Description
This hike is an all terrain hike. You start out in wide open sand, tiptoe through mush, climb rocks through narrow passes, hike hard pack and descend hard pack packed with protruding rocks to a small oasis. It is appropriately named as it is a beautiful hike during a full moon. It is a good hike for young kids as the terrain changes make the hike more interesting. Watch out for all the cactus and thorny plants!

Directions to Hike
Leaving from San Diego take I-8 East to S2 North. Entrance road to Agua Caliente is off S2 on the left side. Enter the Agua Caliente Campground (day use fee required.) Trail head is by campsite #140 and ends at campsite #63. We did the hike backwards from #63 to #140 and reccommend this route.
