Description
This trail hits not one but 2 peaks in one hike! You follow along a fire road through pines and across a few trickling streams up to a trail leading up to the first peak, South Hawkins Mountain. There is a fire tower...and a lot of flies. The restroom there is welcome relief from the flies in midsummer. The trail heads along a ridge past Sadie Hawkins and Middle Hawkins Mountains to end up on the PCT for a little ways to the top of Hawkins. Follows Windy Gap Trail back to the parking lot.

Directions to Hike
Follow the 210 to Azusa Ave. (the 39?). Pick up Adventure Pass at the mouth of the canyon, then take the road all the way past Crystal Lake Campground. Follow HAWKINS markers to the dirt parking lot.
