Description
In Cuyamaca Rancho SF. Easy loop up East Mesa fire road from Green Valley CG. Hike through the Cedar Fire area to camp at the Granite Springs CG, in a beautiful meadow, barely touched by the fire. A nearby stream ran briskly when I visited in late April. Returned next day via Harvey Moore Trail. Be sure to check in and reserve site at Green Valley.

Directions to Hike
I-8 East from San Diego to SR 79 toward Jullian. Overnight parking is available at Green Valley Campground.
