Description
Mount Tallac: One of Tahoe's dominating peaks at 9735 feet in elevation. There is a trail to the summit, that gains around 3,300 feet of elevation. This is an strenuous all day hike. The Trail includes two alpine lakes. This is a very popular trail so you will see many people on the trail. In the summer be sure to bring plenty of water.

Directions to Hike
Drive 3.9 miles north from the South Tahoe on Hwy. 89 to road 1306A. The trailhead is one mile up the road.
