Description
3 days 2 nights in the canyon. 1st day 7 miles to cottonwood camp, some awesome cliffs, this is where wylie coyote and the road runner must play. 2nd day 7 miles to phantom ranch,my favorite part of the hike, no mules and bright angel creek. 3rd day 9 miles and out. 4k ft. climb can be tough if you start late and get caught in heat of the day, south side also gets lots of heavy traffic from tourist. (including a little Japanese woman in three inch spiked heels 1 mile down from the rim.)

Directions to Hike
from Flagstaff take SR89 to ALT89 to Jacobs lake then head south to the north rim. Trail head is on your left ~12miles after entering park.
