Description
Humphreys Peak Trail is a fairly strenuous day hike. It climbs 3400 feet over 4.5 miles to the top of the highest peak in Arizona (12,664 ft). The trail is well- marked and easy to follow, although above tree line it does get a little hard to follow sometimes. From the summit, the view is spectacular. One can see the Grand Canyon on clear days. Watch the weather, it can change quickly, especially during July and August monsoon season.

Directions to Hike
From Flagstaff, take US 180 North for seven miles to the Arizona Snow Bowl turnoff. Turn right and follow the signs for the Snow Bowl. Park in the Snow Bowl parking lot.
