Description
This hike takes you to an awesome stream. The water is of the highest clarity that I've found in Arizona. There is a good supply of fish if that's what you like to do. The trailhead is a little small considering the popularity of the area, and during a backpacking trip (Oct. 2002) a burglar attempted to break into our car so be carefull. The trail is more or less a 4ft. wide road with some rocks scattered about until you come to a split where you can cotinue on the Bell Trail or take the Wier Trail.

Directions to Hike
Turn off I-17 at the Sedona exit and drive two miles southeast on Forest Road 618. Turn left on Forest Road 618A (follow the sign for the trailhead)and continue another 0.25 miles to the parking area. For more info refer to "100 Classic Hikes in Arizona Second Edition" by Scott S. Warren.
