mengpeter@sbcglobal.net, 10/21/06User Rating:  "years ago we flew into namakanta lake and hiked north to rainbow lake past rainbow stream leanto. we didn't stay there but the place was beautiful.we got the idea to go there from the feb. 1987 national geo. article about the a.t.off to the north east is a place called bear pond,no trail that i could find but also perfect."
