"This shelter is a freak'in dump.
Do yourself a favor and pass on this sorry excuse for a shelter. A message to those responsible for this shelter," Mr.Maintainers, tear down this shelter"."

"Caveman you must be smokin crack. I know a POS when I see it and brother Cold Spring is a POS that’s long overdue for reconstruction. Booya!"

"I think I hear the world's smallest violin playing "My heart bleeds for winsbig!" My questions is your shelter half full or half empty? Anyway, the shelter is on the older side and a little dark and wet, but there is fresh water just outside the front door, a privi, and in the morning an awesome view from the ridgeline near by! I say stay if you don't want to hike six more miles to Wesser Bald. "

"being one of the oldest shelters on the trail, i would consider cold spring in sleeping condition"
