patrick ross, 07/20/04User Rating:  "the hill on other side of shelter both ways is hard but for small groups, and adv hikers its a sinch. its realy 18 to 19 miles to apple house from here. they have added 4 miles to the trail. great cemeterys on the way. dont get lost , and end up at a nursing home on the way,that will run you 21 miles instead of 18. had great fun , but dont take the logging trails youll get lost on them, stay on the white blaze. "
