"really choice location, a beautiful section of trail, but lack of water was definitely an issue. it was a thirsty walk down to tiorati circle in the morning."

    crockett, 08/23/06User Rating:
"You can usually find water down the mountain from the Shelter. Blue trail I think. Couple of springs running off the rocks."

    weatherman, 07/15/06User Rating:
"Quaint, rock construction. Trashy and frequested by local homeless. Overgrown. Conolny of bats in the shelter keep the bugs down."

    Brent, 07/11/05User Rating:
"Not a bad location - but pretty ragged. Trash also a problem."

    Tony Flow, 03/24/06User Rating:
"nice location, two fireplaces at either side of the entrance. Firewood very scarce though. Plenty of tent areas surrounding the shelter."
