Description
I'm unsure of the actual length in total, I mostly use this trail in conjunction with others for loops. Beautiful, particularly the section between the Pinhoti connector with CaveCreek and the Cheaha Trailhead. Can be a bit rocky at times, so wear good footwear. Water is not very reliable, so be prepared. This is a frequent dayhiker/dog trot location, so look out for the road apples. McDill point is not to be missed, so take the 1/4 mile connector trail and be sure to check out the plane crash on your right as you go in.

Directions to Hike
Take US 431 South off of I-20 just east of Anniston, and watch for a sign directing you to turn right (west) to go to Cheaha SP. You will pass the turn off heading to Nubbin Creek Trailhead, and will drive right to the Cheaha Trailhead.

Contact Information
Cheaha SP store has maps (sometimes), so does Alabama Outdoors in Bham and Southern Trails in Auburn. You could also order either the Talladega NF map or the Cheaha USGS Topo.
