Description
This trail forms a third of the popular Chinnabee Silent Trail -> Skyway Trail -> Pinhoti Trail Loop, which altogether totals at about 17.5 miles. This is a rather strenuous, windy trail that often travels up, down, and around ridges instead of following along the tops. Overall, a beautiful trail, but can be a bit frustrating if it is the last leg of your loop. Also, watch out for stream crossings, they can swell dramatically during rainy weather, and there are at least three large ones on the trail.

Directions to Hike
Take US 431 South off of I-20 just east of Anniston, and watch for a sign directing you to turn right (west) to go to Cheaha SP. You will pass the turn off heading to Nubbin Creek Trailhead, and will drive right past the Cheaha Trailhead and the Cheaha Store (skip the Mt. Cheaha highpoint) Continue on a few miles till the paved road ends at Adam's Gap (careful parking here on overnights, vandalism has occured)

During Spring/Summer, Chinnabee lake parking can also be used.

Contact Information
Cheaha SP store has maps (sometimes), so does Alabama Outdoors in Bham and Southern Trails in Auburn. You could also order either the Talladega NF map or the Cheaha USGS Topo.
