Description
Very scenic with a few waterfalls. The trail follows along a stream which leads to lake Chinabee. There is a campground for carcamping at the lake. Some uphill hiking but for the most part a easy hike with great scenery. There is one shelter on the trail and some stream crossings. Don't underestimate the weather it can get cold even in Alabama and it can be a very foggy drive to the top of Mt.Cheaha at night.

Directions to Hike
The Chinabee Silent Trail is in the Talladega national forest and connects to the Pinhoti trail. From Birmingham take I-20 east and follow the sign (about 1.5hours away)

Contact Information
Cheaha state park at (205) 488-5111.
