Description
On the Kenai Pennisula,this is a lovely backpack: 2,000 ft. climb on well-traveled with gradual grade to Resurrection and Devil's Pass thru spruce forest, along creeks, by lakes, through alpine tundra, surrounded by mountain peaks. The Resurrection Pass Trail can be linked with the much more challenging Russian Lakes Trail and Resurrection River Trail for a 70 mile hike from Hope to Exit Glacier near Seward. Caution: Brown bears, especially during red salmon runs.

Directions to Hike
Access Resurrection Pass Trail from the northern trailhead off of Resurrection Creek Road, outside Hope, Alaska or from the southern trailhead at mile 52 on the Sterling Highway past Cooper
Landing.
