GSMNP - Big Creek / Baxter Creek - backpacking pictures
Great Smoky Mountain National Park, North Carolinaby cbus rush Jon and Carl’s Great Smoky Mountain adventure!
This was a two day trip starting at Baxter Creek trail while working our way up via Swallow Fork to Campsite #38 at 5,600 feet up. The next day we traveled down the Baxter Creek trail to end our adventure.
This was truly a HIGH and taxing hike. Hindsight being king, I think we would break the hike up into three day’s if we did it again. It was brutal.
