"I had this backpack for 8 years and drag it everywhere in all kinds of conditions. It has held up very well with minimal wear and tear.

Pros:
1) Great suspension system
2) Well built
3) Durability

Cons:
1) Too many straps
2) Water pocket does not fit 1L Nalgene
3) No sleeping bag compartment
4) Never used side zipper

"I've found my Arc'Teryx Bora 70 to be an invaluable asset to my hikes. It has carried my equipment everywhere from South American Indian Tribes in Brazil to all over Europe. I often take for granted the comfort that this pack offers because I've never had a need to use any other pack. It offers wonderful back support and a great hip-belt. I do agree with the previous reviews that a separate sleeping bag compartment would be a nice asset for this pack but the Bora 70 is still a high-quality pack suitable for even the most picky of backpackers!"

"it s a good pack. but for a price of close to $300, i'd settle for a cheaper brand which is just as good."

"I have used this pack for the past 5 years and I find that it is fabulous! It offers a great support for the back and hips, and has an anatomically shaped head rest. The only problem that I found with this pack is the access to the lower part of the bag. They should have considered putting a seperate compartment for the sleeping bag. Other than that, you have the best bag on the market at 50% off when you consider the exchange rate in canadian dollars. I have tried dozen of bags and none have felt as comfortable as this one. It's an investment that I don't regret considering the number of times I have used it... . No flashy colors, no unecessary gagets, just a amazing bag! A must for the dedicated backpacker!!!!"

"Awesome pack, very spacious and holds up well to everyday trail wear and tear. This pack is very comfortable for extended hikes, and I've heard that it is good for climbs too. My only wish is that it had a sleeping bag compartment. Overall a good value a $270."
